The questions we get asked before signing.
If yours is not here, ask it: it will probably end up on this page.
The project
How long does a project take?
A business website takes 3 to 5 weeks, an online store 6 to 10, a mobile app 8 to 16, a custom tool 10 to 20. The factor that delays projects is almost never development: it is waiting for content, copy and photos.
Can I change the project along the way?
Yes. A request outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and you decide whether to include it now, later, or not at all. Nothing appears on the final invoice without your written approval.
Do you work from a written brief?
If you have one, we start there. If you do not, that is normal and not a blocker: the scoping stage exists precisely to build it together.
Do you take on every project?
No. If an existing tool serves your need better, or if the budget does not allow the work to be done properly, we say so before signing.
Price
How is the price calculated?
Each feature is estimated in days, then added up. The quote is line by line: you see what each block costs and can remove some to fit your budget.
How do payments work?
In three instalments: 30% on signature, 40% on design sign-off, 30% at launch. Longer projects are split further.
Are there recurring costs?
The domain name and hosting, usually €100–400 a year. Maintenance is optional and you can stop it whenever you like.
Do you offer staged payments?
On larger projects, yes. Let's discuss it when we quote rather than afterwards.
Technical
Will I own my site?
Entirely. Source code, domain name, hosting and every account are in your name from day one.
Where is my site hosted?
On infrastructure located in the European Union, under your company's name. You can move it whenever you want.
Will the site be responsive?
Always, and tested on real devices. More than half your visitors will arrive from a phone.
Can you take over an existing project?
Yes, after an audit. Sometimes starting fresh costs less than repairing, and we will tell you straight.
After delivery
Do you provide maintenance?
Yes, optionally, with no minimum term. It covers security updates, backups, monitoring and an allowance of hours for changes.
What happens if there is a bug?
For the month following launch, fixes are included. After that they fall under maintenance or are billed hourly, depending on what you chose.
Can I ask for new features?
Of course. They are priced like a small project, with the same process: quote, approval, development, launch.
What if we stop working together?
You leave with everything: code, data, access, documentation. We keep no key that would make you dependent on us.
Communication
Who will my contact be?
Manon, from the first conversation to launch. She knows your project and you will never have to explain your needs again.
Can I talk to the developer directly?
Yes, as soon as the subject is technical. That is the whole point of how we work: no middleman to mistranslate it.
How do I follow progress?
Through regular updates, at a frequency agreed during scoping, with a demo of what has moved. And you can write to us in between.
How quickly do you reply?
Within one working day for a first enquiry. During a project, usually the same day.
Describe it, Manon replies.
Within one working day. Then a free, detailed, line-by-line quote, with no commitment.
